Minutes of The Over 35 Veterans' Football League meeting - 2nd

In Attendance: N Smith, K Mather, J Riley and delegates from each team. Non Attendances: Astley & Tyldesley, East Leigh, Radcliffe F.C. Old Boys Vets, Radcliffe F.C. Old Boys , Radcliffe Rangers, Salford Vets, Stoneclough and De La Salle. No Matters Arising N.Smith: Roll Call Just a reminder any teams not attending meetings will be fined. J Riley: Cup Finals will be the end of the season. Hopefully there will be some new teams entering for the new season. K Mather: Once all teams are finalised for next season a WhatsApp group will be created which will be for updating scorecards only. Any other disputes should be brought to the monthly League meetings. There have been enquires from new teams for the upcoming season, however all applications need to be in by the AGM. AOB: Neil is acting as treasurer at the moment. An advertisement will be put in the Bolton Evening News for a new treasurer and maybe for any other vacant committee positions. AGM propose to change league rules so that divisions and cups may be decided by goal difference. N Smith has put this in writing and this will be attached to the minutes and put in the file. Play offs will decide divisional cups, if a team withdraw and forfeit a 3-0 score-line will be enforced. Teams booking 3/4G pitches are to email a member of the committee if opposition cancel at short notice so any cancellation fees can be added to fines. Robert Moffat may be retiring so if anyone is interested in helping then please can you put your name forward in case Robert does make the decision to retire. All Teams should attend the AGM. AGM is a presentation meeting for all trophies. KM needs to know the details on how to register players on the WHOLE Game System.
